Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitators (RALFs)

Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitators (RALFs)

Three RALF roles are supported to work throughout the Condamine, Murray-Darling and south west regions to liaise with landholders, community groups and agricultural industries and connect them with information that improves the sustainability, productivity and profitability of agriculture in our region.

Services

Our RALFs help to coordinate and deliver a range of activities in our region. Anita, Keith and Ross are very approachable and in touch with land managers,  Landcare groups and farming groups regularly, planning activities to support regional networks in their endeavours on the land. RALFs coordinate and deliver:

- Natural resource management activities, such as workshops, farm demonstrations or peer learning sessions.

- New communities of practice that support sustainable agriculture.

- Regional community engagement plans.

They can also help with facilitating ideas and practices, such as  building resilience to significant changes in climate, on‐farm biosecurity, chemicals management and innovative practices.
