We are lucky to have more than 1,100 species of animals living in the SQ Landscapes region, some of which are rare and endangered. From the iconic koala, endangered bilby and vulnerable yakka skink to the migratory birds of the Currawinya wetlands, native fish and platypus in our rivers and streams – our region is biodiversity rich. We manage the ‘Land For Wildlife’ program for our region and can connect and support communities to improve and protect biodiversity values in their respective areas.
